چکیده

Sucralose and saccharin-cyclamate mixture are considered as safe commercial artificial sweeteners with many health authorities instead of natural sugar. We aimed to reveal their effects on the physiological, immunological histological profiles. Mice were given sucralose (0.3 mg/ml) or (20 in drinking water for 8 16 weeks. Only caused a temporary significant increase blood glucose after weeks that was eliminated WBCs count decreased significantly administration. Aspartate aminotransferase (AST), Alanine (ALT), urea nitrogen (BUN) creatinine (Cr) recorded an at due two intake. Both induced interleukin (IL-) 6, tumor necrosis factor-alpha (TNF-?) circulating lipopolysaccharides (LPS) levels progress from 8th 16th post sugars, especially sucralose, severe damage kidney, liver, pancreas urinary bladder. Data indicated adverse effect mixture, consumption can cause inflammation Moreover, they may interrupt intestinal barriers leading LPS pro-inflammatory cytokine secretions.

Saccharin and cyclamate inhibit binding of epidermal growth factor.

The binding of 125I-labeled mouse epidermal growth factor (EGF) to 18 cell lines, including HeLa (human carcinoma), MDCK (dog kidney cells), HTC (rat hepatoma), K22 (rat liver), HF (human foreskin), GM17 (human skin fibroblasts), XP (human xeroderma pigmentosum fibroblasts), and 3T3-L1 (mouse fibroblasts), was inhibited by saccharin and cyclamate. The human cells were more sensitive to inhibiti...

Consumption of SC45647 and sucralose by rats selectively bred for high and low saccharin intake.

Mammals' affinity for sweet tastes exists alongside dramatic variation among species and individuals in responses to sweeteners. The present paper focused on consumption by Occidental High- (HiS) and Low-Saccharin (LoS)-consuming rats in 23-h 2-bottle tests of 2 sweeteners for which few data from rats are available: SC45647 and sucralose. Every HiS and LoS rat preferred SC45647 to water at ever...

Feeding studies on sodium cyclamate, saccharin and sucrose for carcinogenic and tumour-promoting activity.

Groups of 50 female Swiss mice were fed for 18 months on a standard diet containing sucrose (10 %), sodium cyclamate (5 %) or saccharin (5 %), while 100 control mice were fed on the standard diet alone. The survival times were comparable in all groups and no acute toxic effects were encountered. No local tumours in the gastro-intestinal tract, nor excess incidence of distant tumours, were found...
